It is really rewarding for us to learn about projects our students take part in out of their own initiative, such as Guadalupe’s internship. Congrats, Guadalupe!  

This year I had the opportunity to work as an intern in the National STEM Honor Society. After a few weeks, I was promoted to Public Relations Director. This position allowed me to communicate and actively work with people from different ethnicities and backgrounds. My job included supersiving and communicating with the team leaders and checking with the interns. In October, I was the MC of a webinar entittled “Opportunities and challenges faced by Latinxs in the STEM field”.
